The following is a preliminary plan for the next 18 months, including a singlehanded three-month trip south along the Intra-Coastal Waterway, to be funded via online/on-site consulting services, online sales of products, media publishing, playing music, sponsored YouTube channel(s) including video blog(s), and academic lessons (distance learning via video), for all of which the boat itself is both workshop/studio and marketing tool.
At many of these stops I’ll be conducting tours of the boat, sales of t-shirts and books, and speaking/consulting engagements, which are the real point of the whole thing.
The boat departs with NO outstanding debt. Fuel & mooring expenses = about $1600, mostly sorted. Food & sundries for 80 days = about $300 (c/o Target.com). Fresh produce is additional, acquired en route. Income from the above should cover incidentals. (This is still a ‘working retirement’ .)
